I am a first year student in the Master’s program ‘Human Geography’ at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tbilisi State University. My primary research interests include spatial analyses of demographic changes and migration, urban sociology, as well as research methods and visualization. My interest in visualization started at National Statistics Office of Georgia where I worked during one year as ArcGIS specialist at Population Census and Demography Division. Currently I participate in the research project-“Scenario Development for Sustainable Land Use in the Greater Caucasus, Georgia”, launched by the University of Giessen. At the same time, I’m researcher and analyst in the project “Students for self-government”. I believe that the best way to explain spatial processes and development is to show them. That’s why in my works I always try to use data visualization by graphs, infographs and/or maps.
